You probably know Hamish and Angie, and we introduced you to our own Robin Hood in the previous post, so it’s time you met Archie, our ArcheryPlus totem.

Archie began life as a roll of wire. During a six-hour drive to Barrytown to attend a knife-making course, Archie was fashioned into his current form by Hamish’s passenger and great mate Vince, using just a pair of pliers. With various lengths of wire trimmings flying around the vehicle, it made for an interesting trip… Stopping to fish on the pristine Gowan River, Hamish and Vince were defeated by the sandflies, but did have time to find a lovely stone that now acts as the base for Archie, providing him with a good grounding.

Archie doesn’t say much but provides a great talking point for those gathering outside for a meal. His diet consists exclusively of spiders’ webs.
