One of the challenges we’ve had recently is the pine plank axe throwing wall had become really dried out and hard, therefore making it difficult to make the axes stick.

So, we’ve replaced the pine with black poplar planks which is a much softer wood and gee, it works a treat ! Angie scored 4 out of 4 with our new , lighter, more user friendly throwing axes. We got these made especially for women as they are lighter than our regular axes allowing more chance of success.

Similar to the mens axes, just a smaller head but with some real oomph when thrown in earnest.

Time to take up the challenge.
